Summer Days – the UK’s newest boutique music and food festival – has unveiled its Saturday night headline act, Echo & The Bunnymen, and a host of other artists across the weekend.

Also joining the Saturday line-up are Everything EverythingCirca Waves, Ian Broudie’s Lightning Seeds and former Cast frontman John Power.

Summer Days is a three-day boutique music and food festival in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle, Clitheroe, Lancashire – one of the North’s most beautiful and unique locations. With two live stages featuring more than 30 artists, a locally sourced gourmet food village and a dedicated real ale area there is much, much more still to be announced.

Freshly added to the Friday line-up headed by Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and Caro Emerald – are Shed Seven, The Farm, Space and former Specials rude boy Neville Staple and his band.

Performing throughout the week is creator of the legendary Blitz Club DJ Rusty Egan.

Summer Days organizer John Tyrrell: “We’re delighted to announce these additions for Summer Days Festival. There are some incredible artists across the three days and there really is something for everyone.

“We’ve still got some surprises up our sleeves with more acts and experiences to announce so watch this space. Summer Days is going to be truly spectacular!”
