Jake Bugg has announced a forest show at Sherwood Pines Forest, near Mansfield, Notts on Thursday 23rd June as part of Forest Live 2016
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter, from Nottingham will play the homecoming gig as part of the Forest Live series of concerts promoted by the Forestry Commission.
Each summer, open spaces within forests are transformed into concert arenas. Forest Live gigs take place at up to seven fantastic forest locations. The gigs are well known for their eclectic range of international artists, amazing atmosphere and their stunning locations. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife.
Bugg posted a new picture on his official Facebook page, which says “Jake Bugg O.M.O 26/2” suggesting a release, likely to be On My One, later this month.
Tickets cost £36 (plus £4.10 booking fee per ticket). No other fees apply. Tickets go on sale from 9am Wednesday 2 March
