Hungary’s Sziget Festival confirms the first eight acts for their 2016 lineup

Held at Óbudai-sziget an island in the Danube, Budapest, Hungary, between 10-17 August, 2016. The festival hosts hundreds of acts and programs across more than 50 venues that will be announced in the coming months. Everything from EDM to hard rock is represented on Sziget’s spectacular stages

Early bird tickets are available till 31st December. More than 25% of the available Sziget 2016 passes have already been sold. Sziget attracts 60,000-70,000 visitors per day. A 7 day pass is priced at 235 euros, and a 5 day pass is 199 euros.

The festival known for its fairly priced food and drink. A pint of premium beer will set you back around £1.50, and for £3 food.
