Y Not Festival Expands Line Up

Happy Mondays, Frank Turner, Deaf Havana, Lethal Bizzle, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and more added to the Y Not Festival line up.

They join previously announced headliners The Vaccines, Stereophonics and Two Door Cinema Club.

Elsewhere on the bill is Spring King, Declan McKenna, Honeyblood, Young Guns, The Big Moon, Clean Cut Kid, Superfood, Black Honey, Will Varley, Blaenavon, Kagoule, Vukovi, Black Foxxes, Splashh, God Damn, Menace Beach, Dan Caplen, Twin Wild, Strange Bones, Dan Caplen, Twin Wild, Strange Bones, Bad Sounds, Haus, King No-One, OUTLYA and Catherine McGrath.

Other acts on the line up include Clean Bandit, Jake Bugg, Slaves, Maximo Park, Feeder (Thurs headline), Nothing But Thieves, Example (The Quarry headliner), Twin Atlantic (The Quarry headliner), The Hunna, Cast, Sundara Karma and Kate Nash. Palace, Cabbage, Fickle Friends, Pulled Apart By Horses, Tom Grennan, Jaws, Beans on Toast, Tigercub, Muncie Girls, Banfi, Crows, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys, Everly Pregnant Brothers, and Trash.

Y Not also welcomes a host of additions to its stellar DJ line-up including actor, musician, and DJ Idris Elba, the legendary Norman Jay MBE and the cut and paste stylings of Jaguar Skills.

Y Not Festival manages to showcase the big guns of the music industry, right down to the local heroes, up and coming talent and everything in between. A few teething problems with the increased capacity, but overall a superb festival.
