Glastonbury Festival drops their 2016 line up

Glastonbury Festival 2016 will take place from Wed 22nd June to Sun 26th June 2016.

Previously announced…

Muse – headlining the Friday night of this year’s Festival. This will be the band’s third Pyramid headline appearance. They will also become the first act to top the bill on all three nights, after headlining Sunday in 2004 and Saturday in 2010.

Adele – announced live on stage in London, she will headline Saturday night at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Coldplay – the first headline act to be confirmed for Glastonbury Festival 2016. They will top the Pyramid Stage bill on Sunday.

ELO – Jeff Lynne’s ELO have been announced for the Sunday afternoon “legends” lot, which in recent years has been filled by Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and Kenny Rogers.

The full line-up will not be announced until April/May time, but expect around 2,000 performances at over 100 venues/areas/stages including music, theatre, circus, poetry, cabaret, etc.

For those that paid a deposit back in October the balance payments (£178 + £5 booking fee) are payable in the first week of April 2016 (from 9am Friday 1st April – 23:59 Thursday 7th April).

A resale of unwanted tickets will take place shortly after the final balance payment date. Make sure you are registered before the resale if you are wanting to attend the festival. General admission full weekend tickets (valid from Wednesday 22nd June to Monday 27th June) for Glastonbury Festival 2016 will cost £228 + £5 booking fee per ticket.

On receiving the balance payment email attendees are reminded the festival takes place on a working farm and the organisers have asked attendees to sign a pledge. We also remind you not to piss on the land, use the bins provided and take your belongings home. This goes for every festival not just Glastonbury.
