With a bunch of European festivals announcing over the past few weeks we can start to piece together the acts that are on the festival scene this coming summer. We’ve rounded up the best lineup announcements for European festivals happening in 2018.
Rock Am Ring / Rock Im Park
The Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals in Germany. The festivals will take place over 3 days from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd June 2018.
Festival highlights include Foo Fighters, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Gorillaz, Enter Shikari + more. Expect to pay around 195 Euros for the event.
Taking place at Soren Frichs Road, Aarhus, in Denmark and over three days held from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th June 2018. Line up so far includes Queens of the Stone Age, The National, A Perfect Circle, Father John Misty, Tyler the Creator + more.
Headliners Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars will take to the main stage at Netherlands’ Pinkpop. Held in the city of Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam, on Friday 15th to Sunday 17th June 2018. Prices around 200 euros for the weekend, or 100 euros per day.
The first acts confirmed are Gorillaz and Bruno Mars
Open’er Festival happening at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airfield, Gdynia, Poland, a four-day event that happens between 4 – 7 July 2018. A 4-day event with 6 days camping is priced at 629 PLN (approx. £110).
A spin-off from the legendary British festival, the French satellite celebrates its third edition in 2018. Download Paris shares many of the same acts as it’s sister event and the original Download (Donington, UK). This year sees Foo Fighters and Ozzy Osbourne take to the main stage.
The 2018 festival will take place in brand new location, Madrid’s Valdebebas – IFEMA, running from 12th to 14th July 2018. The first act to be confirmed are Queens Of The Stone Age. Backed by Live Nation this festival generally has a massive line up.
Bilbao BBK Live
Bilbao BBK Live is a rock and pop festival situated on the slopes of Mount Cobetas, overlooking the northern Spanish city. Happening 12-14 July 2018, with a ticket price from just 80€ for 3 days. Line up so far includes Gorillaz and The xx.
