Sam Green and the Midnight Heist are a band from the southwest of England who play swamp infested Blues, Folk, Roots Rock music. This high energy 4 piece whip up a storm with stompin’ beats, dog house bass and growlin’ slide guitars. Throw in wailin’ harmonicas and 4 howlin’ voices and you have yourself a modern day juke joint sound; guaranteed to bring any old house down.
SGATMH are a real road band, touring extensively together for the last 5 years and releasing two EP’s. The band have taken their own blend of Roots Rock N Roll all the way around the country from the late night bars of their native and beloved West Country to some of the most highly respected venues in the UK, and some of the best music festivals in the land.
Taking on board influence from early Blues music, the 90s punk attitude of the Epitaph label, west coast Californian Folk Rock and the good time voice of the modern British festival scene, SGATMH deliver an emphatic live sound of their own inciting sing alongs, stompin feet and a raucous hoedown where ever they go.

I went to see these guys in the Chai Wallahs tent of Green Man a couple of years back. Chai Wallahs have impeccable taste and we’re always swapping suggestions.
